MARVIN & ANDREA PREZIOSO
Marvin “Alessandro Moschini” e Andrea Prezioso nascono entrambi a Roma. Nel lontano 1995 Andrea, in cerca di un musicista, incontra Marvin. Da subito, oltre alla grande collaborazione professionale, nasce anche una grande amicizia. Per alcuni anni lavorano a diversi progetti, finchè nel 1998, insieme a Giorgio Prezioso fratello di Andrea, decidono di formare un gruppo di produzione con degli intenti ben precisi. E infatti l’anno successivo, il 1999, esce il primo singolo “TELL ME WHY”, che in pochi giorni scala le classifiche della musica dance e pop posizionandosi al n. 4 Italia e n.2 Austria ed entrando nella Top Ten in Germania. Ora il progetto ha un nome: Prezioso feat Marvin. Il trio si esibisce ovunque in Italia fino ad arrivare al palco del Festivalbar. Il 2000 vede l’uscita del secondo singolo “LET ME STAY” che ottiene un grande successo radiofonico e di vendite sia in Italia che all’estero (Top 20 Germania, Top 10 Austria). Il brano sarà tra i più suonati nei club tedeschi. Diverse le esibizioni del gruppo all’estero tra le quali: Danube Festival in Austria (40.000 spettatori), Love Parade 2000 Berlino, Viva Tv Germania, Festival Dome di Amburgo. L’ottobre 2000 è inoltre segnato dal ritorno del Trio con “EMERGENCY EP” (su etichetta Time), dal quale viene estratto in Italia il singolo “VOICES”, accompagnato da un video girato presso gli Universal Studios di Barcellona. Sempre dallo stesso EP esce in Germania il singolo “ROCK THE DISCOTECK” che raggiunge la posizione 26 delle classifiche di vendita e top ten nei club tedeschi. In Austria viene votato n.1 nella classifica annuale compilata dai deejays austriaci. Qualche tempo dopo esce in Italia e all’estero il singolo “EMERGENCY” che raggiunge il n.5 nelle classifiche di vendita austriache e top 20 nei clubs tedeschi. Il brano è supportato da un divertente video girato in Italia, che si avvale dell’affabile presenza di Albertino, Fargetta e Giuseppe di Radio Deejay. Nel giugno del 2001 esce il nuovo singolo “LET’S TALK ABOUT A MAN” che si rivela da subito come uno dei tormentoni dell’estate. Il video, in perfetto stile “Non ci resta che piangere” (Troisi e Benigni), trasporta lo spettatore nel Medio Evo. ““LET’S TALK ABOUT A MAN” arriva al primo posto delle dance chart italiane e conquista presto anche la Germania dove raggiunge i top 30 di vendite. Nel dicembre del 2001 è il turno di “BONJOUR EP “che include anche “IT’S LIKE”, “I’M YOUR DEEJAY”, “TIME GOES BY”, “SOMEBODY”; quest’ultimo sarà il singolo che uscirà in Germania.Nell’estate del 2002 esce il singolo “WE RULE THE DANZA” che raggiunge il n.2 nella classifica austriaca dance e in classifica di vendite in Italia e porta il trio ad esibirsi dal vivo a “Top of the pops”. Del 2002 è anche il singolo “IN MY MIND”. Il gruppo è in cerca di qualcosa di nuovo…e decide allora di cimentarsi nella canzone italiana. E lo fa con un tributo ad un geniale artista, Franco Battiato. La sfida è ardua, vista la struttura originale del brano, ma il risultato, dopo mesi di tentativi, regala a Prezioso e Marvin una grandissima popolarità. “VOGLIO VEDERTI DANZARE”, infatti, diventa da subito la hit dell’estate del 2003 in Italia e Spagna. Nel 2004, continuando sulla scia italiana, viene realizzata una rivisitazione in chiave dance del brano ‘80 “LE LOUVRE”. Gruppo molto richiesto dai miglior Club & Festival Internazionali.
